Not happy with results

Bought three bronze deck lights, Looked good at first but one failed. Had receipt returned and replaced. Within a week the replacement one give out and doesn't recharge the battery

Complete junk

Bought six of these last fall and even after taking them down for the winter, two of the six failed when they were put back this spring. Of course I can't find the receipt to get warranty coverage!

Garbage Product

Don't waste your money on these. Poorly made, lasted 3 weeks before some stopped working, rest were shot in 2 months. Water leakes into them and strong winds will blow the light unit right off the base;

Poorly made. Bought 5, but water seeped in underneath the solar panel at the top, causing separation. All five were dead within 2 months.

Q: Will this light run on a AA battery as well as the included rechargeable?

2 Answers

A: most solar lights that use AA or AAA batteries can by used with a regular non rechargeable battery. HOWEVER! the non rechargeable batteries can not be charged with the provided solar panel. If the regular batteries ( not the rechargeable kind) are in the product while it is in light, I would believe the recharging process would destroy the non rechargeable battery and possibly cause harm to the user. So even though the light can be lit with a regular battery, it is by no means recommended you do so.
