Q: How is this device programmed to work once installed on the vehicle? The lights all came on, but there was no programming/pairing instructions in the box. Installation is on a 2012 Silverado

Q: does it come with a remote button for pontiac aztec
6 years agoA: This product will not fit your vehicle. It will require an Analog Remote starter with a DB3 (0342402).

Q: Will this model work on a 2006 Chevrolet 2500hd Silverado and does it need to be flased with softwae If this model is incorrect what if any is the correct unit. Thanks
8 years agoA: Yes the Pro Start system is compatible but it may require an interface bypass to do remote start. Because it is a 2006 model its right at the cut off year where vehicles were starting to require bypass interfaces. Please have your Pro Start dealer confirm this with you before purchasing the system, if it’s not required then the package will have everything you need to install it.
