We had to return this product

My daughter bought this to use for a school science fair project, but we had nothing but problems with it. It only worked for 1 measurement at a time and then she'd have to put new batteries in each time she did a measurement. She ended up borrowing a professional multimeter which did the job perfectly without any issues, so I'm sure it was this product that was the problem.

This product works very well and has that included attachment. Purchased mine on sale for about $12.99 and would only suggest buying this when on sale. Years back they had one that looked similar but is of MUCH better quality with better probe wires etc. Remember to pick up a good 9V battery and have a micro screw driver set handy to open it up. For very basic use with RC cars and alternator load testing etc it can handle the basics well.

Neat wrist band feature

Having a couple of analog and a pocket type digital (Radio Shack) already, this one is the real deal and was on special, too.. Digital is the way to go and this one has all the bells and whistles!

A: J'ai acheté l'appareil en question basé sur la réponse de l'expert pour me rendre compte que les instructions dans l'emballage ne correspondent même pas à l'appariel (d'ou la méprise de l'expert dont la réponse vient des instructions). Il est impossible de faire glisser le panneau arrière pour remplacer la pile comme il y a des visses le retenant (même après les avoir retirées, le panneau ne glisse pas comme le prétendent les instructions). Donc comme plusieurs autres modèles, le boitier doit être ouvert avec un tourne vis pour changer la pile (qui n'est pas incluse d'ailleurs).

A: It can be used to test 12V DC automotive battery and locate broken wire in the 12V DC automotive circuit. The maximum voltage being testd is 13V DC. Should you require a manual, please contact Canadian Tire Customer Relations at 1-800-387-8803.

A: A multimeter can do the job; however, a circuit tester can easily highlight whether or not there is a current. 025-1061 can do the job.
