2 Years and It Still Works Great

After 2 years of use, I love this mug. I just clean the plastic part in the dishwasher. Not sure about the reviewer who said the metal was sharp, is definitely not sharp. I have dropped it a number of times and even carried it in my bag, full of tea! No leaks for me. When I fill it I use my Kuerig and put in 16 oz of tea. I make sure the lid has the centre sealing button on top is set to open (you see orange on the side). Then I tighten the lid, and press the button again to seal it. There is always some excess liquid so I tip it upside down over a sink and that's it. It is sealed and ready to go. Best travel mug I have ever owned!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Not worth the Purchase.

Not sure if I got a bad one but from previous reviews I don't think so. While rinsing it out from brand new the thing leaked like a sieve. Tried everything possible thinking I was doing something wrong, even if I was not very friendly. No good.

    Get something else

I thought the design was neat at first and the valve system was innovative with an apparently easy to clean orange soft rubber seal. However, I soon realized that when it was time to clean the mug, it was extremely difficult to unscrew the orange rubber seal from the black plastic cap. When you have to get the oil filter wrench to remove the seal from your coffee mug, something's wrong! Anyhow, I continued to use the mug for a while until I had the nice surprise of having coffee driping on my shirt at the office because it was leaking between the mug and the black plastic cap (due to the orange seal not sealing properly). That was it for this mug...that put the nail in the coffin! And by the way, I wasn't impressed with the insulation of the mug...After an hour in the mug (completely closed), the coffee was warm at best.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Poor Performer

Quick test of a good or poorly insulated mug is with either hot or cold drink, the outside wall should not feel warm or cold. This mug feels the same as the liquid inside. Very disappointed. Dont waste your money. There is one much better mug than this.

    be careful with this mug

I got couple of these mugs for office and home use when on sale for $9.99. here are my pros and cons pros: keeps the drink warm for about an hour and half. there is no soldering at the base, so is unlikely to break like most mug on falls, however i havent tried dropping it. can drink from all sides as it says. cons: cleaning is not as sanitary as the label claims, the rubber part is not easy to clean specially when in office. the metal edge is rather sharp and you can cut your hand when trying to clean from inside, be careful with that. the mug does get quite warm specially if you are having black coffee or steeped tea. the plastic part gets scratched very very easily, i washed it with paper towel & soap (no sponge at office) and it got all scratched up after 3 washes!

No, I do not recommend this product.
