D battery lamp. works well, pleasant light color, also has red. hanging hook works well. sometimes having a battery lantern makes more sense. for keeping in the car or camping it works great. seems very sturdy.

Great light. Its nice that it has 2 intensity settings for the white light. The battery door isn't great though. It can be a combersome thing. I dont fear that the door will break, its just difficult to put back together at times.

Battery life outstanding. Great if you are dealing with seasonal multi hour outages. Battery life allows you to leave unit on in critical areas of a residence like bathrooms, stairways etc. Have some extra batteries and you can deal with 24 hour plus outage.

Q: It says lightbulb life and runtime are both 50hrs. Does that mean it can only be used for 50 hrs?
