[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laser was somewhat small and hard to locate on my dark brown truck but after a little practice I was able to locate it better on a given area. After a few parks I knew where to locate the laser for an ideal parking position.

Very handy for parking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I back into my garage and this product allows me to line up perfectly so that there is enough space to walk around the front of my car with the garage door closed. Was easy to install and I would recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it was pretty easy to set up and worked great for parking the cars. it took a little bit to get the laser to hit the right spot on the dash, but once it was aligned we were good to go. no real concerns - it works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I’ve had this for a while and wanted to give my review. For full disclosure, I was given this to review. So setup was very simple and straight forward. I think it took me less than 10 minutes. I must say using this is a cleaner look for my garage than having one of those balls suspended from the ceiling. The only thing I would want changed or improved is a way to connect the power to the garage door opener, so that it would turn on if the door was open, and off when the door was closed. Overall though, I would recommend this item.

Q: Do you have to tie this in to a garage door opener? Can it just be turned on by its motion detector, or does it have one of those?

A: The Chamberlain Universal Laser Park Assist, part CLULP1, does not wire into the garage door opener. It wires into a power adapter, which comes with the laser park assist. The adapter plugs in to an outlet and the laser will continuously emit a bright red beam.

Q: Are there 2 wires coming out of the laser unit that connects to 2 separate garage door motor units? Are the laser beams easily visible?

A: The laser park has 2 wires, one is positive and one is a negative wire. They are colour coded and plug into the back of a garage door operator in the respective colour coded slots. One laser park operates with one garage door opener only. Yes the laser beam is clearly visible and is easily adjustable to mark on your car dash where you would want to place your car each time you pull into the garage.
