Bad service provided with bad battery

I went to have the car battery replaced and waited there for an hour, and what I got is a bad battery only last for a week! I end up with a new battery replaced by Honda dealarship! I returned the battery and only refund of the cost of the battery, I paid $300 for all the time waisted and only got back $150! You guy picked the battery which is dead and installed it. I was treated unfairly! I will not go back to Canadian Tires again!

Still not sure as it's a new battery and it seems to work so far. Worried about how the battery will last as the customer service rep told me they only recommend this battery to people selling their vehicle...

I had no clue what I was buying and the customer service did not tell me anything about the battery or anything that Canadian tire does during this transaction. I purchased the battery and was not made aware they have a 20$ added fee for some reason (not explained) and I happened to get the wrong battery but was not made aware it is final sale. When it comes to automotive I’ll go to Napa from now on.

  • A: The battery comes with a 2-year free replacement warranty so, if it fails, it will be replaced however many number of times within those 2 years. Of course, that assumes you're using the battery for starting the intended vehicle. If you're using it for some unintended purpose, like for powering a trolling motor or something, I'm sure that automatically voids the warranty.
