Worst Customer Service

This is a review of the service I got from CTC, not the battery. My battery was dying so I went to the Richmond Hill CTC by my work to get a replacement, THEY looked up the battery and sold it to me. I bought it, took it home only to find out they sold me the wrong one. I thought, I'll go over to the Ajax CTC where I live to exchange it but they were rude and pointed to the sign that says no refunds, (I wanted the right battery, not a refund), even the manager held that they would do nothing for me since they didn't sell it to me, I THOUGHT CTC WAS ONE CORPORATION, I understand they are franchises BUT you represent a larger entity and treating customers like they are trash for your company's mistake is the the best way to drive customers elsewhere. I had to drive all the way back to Richmond Hill where they did exchange the battery, but this whole ordeal has taught me that CTC is just as interested in serving their customers as I am in cleaning up after my dog in the backyard. I will NEVER go back to the Ajax CTC and really if I find alternates for anything automotive, I'm going there instead. This will not be the only place I post this complaint.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: with in the 2 year span how many times can the battery be replaced?

2 Answers
  • A: The battery comes with a 2-year free replacement warranty so, if it fails, it will be replaced however many number of times within those 2 years. Of course, that assumes you're using the battery for starting the intended vehicle. If you're using it for some unintended purpose, like for powering a trolling motor or something, I'm sure that automatically voids the warranty.
