    Questions

    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: Is this 10 guage cable good enough to use on a 12v motorcycle battery?

    1 Answer
    • A: For most motorcycles, 10-gauge cable will provide suitable power transfer. Of course, 8- or 6-gauge would be even better.

Q: Is 10 Gauge enough? Does 10 Gauge do the job like 8 Gauge?

    1 Answer
    • A: 8-gauge cables can transfer 50% more power than 10-gauge cables. 6-gauge cables can transfer 50% more power than 8-gauge cables. 8 and 10 gauge cables are okay for boosting small cars but for mid-sized cars and light trucks, especially for boosting in cold weather, we recommend 6-gauge or heavier cables.
