- A: Thank you for your question. Brand New DUAL SURFACE 85-1977 are now available in stores. These grates are amazing. They are reversible. Delicate foods like seafood and pizza can be made on the flat side, while searing your steaks and other meat on the raised side. The are heavy grade porcelain Cast Iron , so all you will need to do is season them with vegetable shortening at first use, and a few times in season.
