Looks good if you’re not looking too closely.

We only bought this item a few days ago. It was really hard to put together and no matter how hard we tried we could not get the doors adjusted properly.
The drawer bottoms fall out and the flimsy back piece also will not stay in.
Though the service was great, the product is cheaply and poorly made and some of the instructions were actually wrong.
I will use the “Mayfield Kitchen Island” but I’d never buy another.
No where near the quality of the Canvas furniture I’ve purchased in years gone by.
I thought the price was great, being on sale for half price, but it should have been a hundred dollars, not anywhere near $300, which is close to what we paid with tax.
Sorry Canadian Tire. We didn’t expect a thousand dollar unit for what we paid but it would have been nice if it had been a good value for the money. 👎

A: 2 of the 5 wheels lock. The instructions recommend on the right side of the unit. But it would be possible to install on the opposite side.

A: Step down on the metal flat lever to lock, pull on on the same lever to unlock. Mine locked. If yours don't lock call cdn tire for a new set or wheels or an exchange on the island as a whole for it might be a failed lock. Basically the wheel locks work the same way wheel lock on a baby stroller work.

Q: What does the back side of the cart look like….it would be a room divider so need to know what the opposite side looks loke

A: The back side of the cart looks nice and finished with a white board (that comes folded in the box). The white board comes with a sticker warning about 'tip-overs', which can be easily removed. We are very pleased with our cart.

Q: How does the top connect to the cart? is it screwed in? can it be removed to change tops?

A: Top easy to install, cam bolts used you just lock top in place. I’ve not removed but feel it would not be difficult due to how can bolts work. Manual provided great introductions for assembly.
