CANVAS Loft Dining Table

Bought this table was easy to build and it's well built and looks amazing

Purchased this table as an inexpensive dining furniture solution. I'm glad I purchased on sale and not full price - you get what you pay for. This table is made of "engineered wood" (aka pressboard) and has "paper wrapped" legs. When assembling the table, the cam bolts don't fit the assigned holes (and strip very easily), and the table finishes seem to crack the paper wrapping. This occurred in non visible spots when the table is fully assembled- but really shows the poor quality of the table overall. When assembling one of the legs, I noticed that the "engineered wood" leg #3 was missing a chunk of wood underneath the "paper wrapping", but quality control at the Canvas plant passed it and allowed the leg to be wrapped in paper. The paper wrapping is obviously loose in the spot where the wood is missing, and is starting to come apart (see photos below)- it's only a matter of time before the paper wrapping finish of the leg rips and exposes the pressboard underneath. I like the look of this table once it was all put together, however, the table legs are of poor quality and I am rather upset that one of the legs arrived damaged in the box. I purchase a lot of Canvas furniture pieces and this was the most disappointing piece yet.
