Unique Design gets a lot of compliments

Great unique design that gets a lot of positive feedback from my guests. Only flaw is that it comes with a straight down rod so had to be modified somewhat for a sloping ceiling. Also, do not underestimate how bright this will be! Low wattage bulbs and a dimmer switch are very much needed.

I purchased this to replace an old chandelier in our dinning room... I am very happy with this update! It looks much more modern and we receive a lot of compliments on it. We purchased it on clearance at $69 so it makes it that much better. Overall quality is decent and the install was straightforward and easy for two people (needed an extra set of hand to hold the fixture during wiring). Didn't love that I spent as much on bulbs as I did on the light (since it requires 12 bulbs), but you want nice looking bulbs since they're exposed.

Brilliant modern light fixture

Bought this because I always wanted a Sputnik light. I had an Electrician install over our round dining table and added round bulbs instead of the Edison style ones. I used 40W bulbs and installed on a dimmer. I love the light it gives off and the look is modern, fresh and just a hint funky. The only thing that would make this light better was if there were more smaller extender rods available to give you greater choice in hanging. We have 9' ceilings and I wish it hung just a tad lower.

Q: Bought this fixture and was so very pleased ,it was the perfect look and size but sadly I had to return it as we noticed it was not meant for a sloped ceiling. My question is do you make it for a slopped ceiling ? Or can one be made for a slopped ceiling?

A: I actually bought this specifically for a sloped ceiling and it hangs perfectly when pointed towards to the ground. But if you want to hang it angled from the ceiling, then no, from what I saw, it’s not possible.

A: The drop height of this fixture is 33". When completely assembled, the measurement from ceiling to the bottom of a flat ceiling (as opposed to an angled ceiling) is 33"

Q: Can I install this on a slopes ceiling? Do I need to purchase an adaptor?

A: Yes, this item can be installed on a sloped ceiling. However, it will depend on the amount of the slope. We do not provide, nor sell a adaptor for this fixture. If there are any concerns, we suggest having a licensed electrician perform the installation.

Q: The installation manual shows the screws go from the ceiling into the mounting strip(top down) and the light fixture is then attached by using the nuts.Since these screws are loose,i cant tighten the nuts at all. Help pls.

A: The screws are intentionally loose so they can be positioned properly in the electrical box. Once the proper position is established, they should be tightened to allow for the nuts to be secured. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician if the customer is not confident they are installing the fixture correctly.

Q: I have an angled ceiling. Can you hang the light just by wires or does it require the down the rod?

A: The Canvas Gabriel Chandelier requires the down rod to support the fixture. For an angled ceiling, it may be possible to hang the light without completely screwing in the down rod but in this case we would recommend that you hire a licensed electrician.
