    These binoculars are 410 ft. field of view,not 430 ft as described! It might sound picky but for those of you who enjoy a wide field of view this may be an important factor.I like these binoculars but I still prefer my Bushnell 8x42 Legacy which are also waterproof and have a field of view of 430 ft.@1000 yds.

    Other binoculars may see a lot further,but they are larger and therefore more difficult to carry.So it is a trade of for what you want to carry and how far you wish to see,These Binocs fit into both categories,easy to carry and provide great long distance viewing.
