Stinky!

Why is it so stinky??? I love that it is ecofriendly, kid and pet safe, but OMG it’s so stinky I don’t want to clean with it! I want my house to smell clean, not like chemicals. How did this pass R&D? Disappointing.

This cleaner is awful. I used it on my tile floors and everything is sticky. I’ve had to repeatedly go over it with plain water to try to get rid of it. It’s disappointing because I’ve been using the cleaner for my wood floors for years and have been happy with that. So I’m surprised and upset at the results of this.

This product does leave a film on your floors! After it dries you can see every single shoe and foot print! Looks awful! Will never buy this again! Going back to the original Bona!

A: To Disinfect: When used as directed, Bona PowerPlus Antibacterial Hard-Surface Floor Cleaner can be used against viruses in 10 minutes. • Vacuum, sweep or dust mop the floor to remove loose dirt and debris. • Spray cleaner directly on floor until thoroughly wet - wait 10 minutes. • Start with a damp Bona Mop and Microfiber Cleaning Pad and wipe up the cleaner. • You will want to take the cleaning pad off of the mop and rinse it out in your sink with warm water OFTEN to release the captured dirt. Wring it out so it is only slightly damp and attach it back on the mop and continue mopping. You will also want to clean your floor with Bona Hardwood or Hard-Surface Cleaner whichever you prefer, after using Bona antibacterial floor cleaner to assist in removing any further soils or stickiness that can occur due to the antibacterial component of the cleaner. *It is not recommended to follow the disinfectant directions for any wood or laminate floor due to excess moisture being introduced, which could cause damage. Treating spots, spills or small areas will minimize the risk of water damage. It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
