Love the softer light quality

Our cabin has been moved off the grid as we are now running on solar and battery power, so we had to replace all the old bulbs with these new energy efficient bulbs. The total load on the power supply has dropped a great deal and the house is still just as bright inside.

Q: Is this product dimmable? If not which Blue Planet one is? need 100 watt equivalent dimmable light bulb either this CFL or LED need bright or daylight ...do not want soft light

A: This is not dimmable. The dimmable CFL bulbs have been discontinued. We can recommend an energy efficient Halogen 052-1359 which is bright white.

Q: Would it work in a 220V lighting outlet? What are my options?

A: Thank you for the question! This is a 120v bulb so it would not work in a 220v outlet. You would need to get a voltage adapter to convert your 220v outlet to a 120v outlet to sue 120v fixtures/bulbs.

Q: Is this it dimmable Can this light bulb be dimmed; also, do you know if it is good against the winter blues?

A: Thank you for the question. This bulb is not dimmable. It is a good bulb for winter as long as it is in an enclosed fixture and if the temperature doesn't drop below 15 degress celsius.
