Bissell Zing Bagged Canister

I love this vacuum, it is small & powerful & perfect for my small 1 bedroom condo.

Vacuum household carpet. Positive characteristics include light weight. Easy to carry. Simple to use. Negative characteristics include light- I had to cut the bristles down by one-half to prevent snagging while vacuuming the carpet.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have bought the Powerforce vaccum twice. It is very lighweight, fairly powerful and easy to clean. the original lasted for a few months and then one after the other the plastic wands broke. I had to duct tape the sections together. After the floor cleaner broke i purchased the second vacuum, thinking that i would be extra careful with the new one especially around carpets and rugs. After one week while cleaning the rug the middle wand broke. The vacuum may be good for floors, but should not be used for rugs or carpets as this puts too much stress on the plastic want sections and also the floor cleaner does not do a good job on these surfaces. When you press hard on the rugs or carpets, this puts too much pressure on the cheaply made plastic wands so they break very easily. Another problem, the wand sections slide into each other instead of clicking so they come apart very easily especially after they experience wear and tear. Manufacture should replace the wands with lightweight metal, and sections should click together. Would make a better vacuum.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please make this model again! It's my favorite and has held up well for years. Would great to know I have a bag up for when it dies! It has a powerful suction that works great both on my thick carpet and hardwood floors. I love that it is lightweight and easy to maneuver, that it easily goes under all furniture and in small corners. Love the wand. Love the pricepoint. Love the replaceable bags that I can just toss when full (I really don't like cleaning out dust canisters and filters from most other vaccums. This is the old-school kind I grew up using and prefer). Only thing I would do different is maybe have a longer retractible cord.

Best vacuum besides my old Electrolux. The Zing's quality is what made me choose Bissell carpet cleaner. This has held up so well. Works just like new. Still has strong variable suction and power cord still rewinds perfectly! I can't believe you don't still make this? Your new Zing is only 9.5amps. Please make this model again, so I can get one for backup in case mine goes out.
