BEWARE contrary to what is shown on the CTC web site this vacuum DOES NOT HAVE AUTOMATIC CORD REWIND.

Wonderful. as an older person, the machine is very very light to push is excellent for sucking up the fragments on the rugs. The only thing I’m not proud of is the fact that it can’t be used in the floors hardwood floors I mean other than that it’s wonderful.

Q: I am interested in purchasing the Bissell Cleanview vac, model 2492N, but I would like to know if it comes with some of attachment for vacuuming stairs? Also, does it swivel to vacuum under a bed?

A: Hi. Besides the Bissell I also have a very expensive Miele vacuum, the Bissell works just as well as the Miele. I'm getting rid of the Miele.

A: Not really. It's a LOT quieter than a shop vac or a central vac. One of my biggest peeves after using it for a year is that it won't lower enough to get under low furniture. The connections won't accept standard size vacuum tubing so I can't easily use the steel tube and floor brush from my old vac, either.

Q: My vacuum did not come with screws for the handle (I bought 2, neither have screws). Is it supposed to have screws? Series 3533, 3536

A: Hi Bob. This vacuum doesn't have a Hepa filter, but it does have a pre-motor and post-motor filter that are BISSELL part numbers 1608225 and 1604130.
