    j'ai acheté cette humidificateurs 6 ans passés à un prix assez élevé parce qu'il est bon pour faire toute la maison et fonctionne très bien avec l'application pour Android! mais voilà que l'année dernière surprise plus de filtres à mesh pour! même pas directement chez bionaire! dû jour au lendemain sans aucune avis! l'humidificateur lui même fonctionne parfaitement! s'est de valeur parce que j'aurais mis facilement 5 étoiles mais vue que les filtres ne sont plus disponibles Il ne vaut rien! j'ai quand même réussi à trouver des filtres qui fonctionne dedans mais très dispendieux et ils faut les changer souvent! malheureusement je ne le conseil pas à personne!

    Wicks dry out

    At first this humidifier seemed to work well, then recently we got some serious cold weather and the air dried out more. We had been running on the minimum fan speed so we cranked it up to middle speed. Then we started to note that there was almost no water needed in the morning where previously it emptied one of the 2 gallon tanks every night. We checked it out and found the top 3/4 of the wicks were bone dry. We use only RO water so dissolved mineral build up is not a factor. We tried soaking the wicks by hand. A few hours later, even at minimum fan speed, the wicks were drying out again. This is the 3rd brand of wick type units we've tried this year with the same result. Where can I find an old fashion drum type unit ???

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    We tried the Honeywell (really made by KAZ) and the AirCare. The wick on the Honeywell kept drying out ( we use RO water so calcium build up was not an issue ). Useless. The AirCare was just too noisy. The Bionaire works as advertised. Quiet on low fan settings. Has two easy to refill tanks and takes all the water from one before switching to the other. Even on low fan setting it evaporates 2 gallons overnight. The WeMo set up easily and works but it is really sort of gimicky. I can't see why it could be useful. Not a cheap unit but it is worth it to us.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    I really love his humidifier. It does with needs to do and it's pretty quiet too. I only have one complain about it. The humidity level on my nest thermostat and the humidity level on the humidifier don't match up so one of them is wrong I just wish it would be accurate.

    WEMO does it again!

    Well, this is my second humidifier I bought this month. Last one (different company) was not accurate at all. Said my house was 61, when it was only 26 %. This one is closer. Not perfect, but much better. Seems the humidistats are built too close to the internal water or something. This ones says my house is 52, but really is 38 or 40. I use two other gauges to test my humidity level because of wood floors. This Humidifier deserves an award for being the quietest one ever. The bottom two settings, (Low and MIN) are almost silent. big jump in noise to MED. But that is okay. With the WEMO app, I can adjust it up to MED when I am away, and back to LOW on the schedule. BUT - Only one schedule. We need to be able to make at least 2 schedules.(Wish List) For day and night. Bummer it only has one for now. I love the two plastic tanks that can be removed to fill almost 6 gallons of water with them. One on each side. WEMO even tells me when it needs filling. And it works! I am a bit worried on how to clean the fan, when it gets all moist and dusty. Have not looked into that yet. Pros: 6 gallons last almost 3 days in my home. Software is getting better. Settings stay working. Cons: no wheels/rollers. Only bumps on bottom. So I put it on a small rug. Moves easier now.

    Q: do you have to use the app to operate this humidifier? can you just operate it from the buttons on the humidifier?
