    First one was missing batteries that were supposed to be included. Returned it for another one. Got it home and it didn't work at all. Again returned it too. Display is very small. Was not impressed!

    bought it because of clock as a result the lights are not coming on battery gone bad within 3 weeks cannot find battery replacement no complaints about time or thermostat all works fine

    Q: Is the supplied batteries with this clock, a back-up source of power, or is this either or power choice?Auto Trends 12V Multi-function Clock?

    • A: It only can be powered by the button cell battery. The two button cell batteries are included.
