A: The ideal diameter of the lamp shade ring that would fit the LA201 (PENDANT LIGHT KIT - BLACK ) is 1 3/4". The outer diameter of the ring fitting this shade is 2 1/4" and the inner diameter of the ring is 1 1/2"
