Good Addition to TV with Rear Speakers

I purchased this as my TV has it's speakers in the rear and the sound quality was poor. This is a perfect addition with good sound and bass, fits under TV thus space saving. I was disappointed that the instruction manual was not in the box. Easily connected without the manual.

I have this under my 40-inch TV. It is very nice-looking.
It was very easy to set up with the included instructions. I have a nice Samsung flat-screen TV which has a great picture but not great sound (no TV really does on its own without external speakers). I wanted to get some speakers but didn't want three or more speakers all around my living room, I just needed a bit more than the TV speakers. This fits the bill perfectly and sounds very good for the price!
It's a bonus that I can use this speaker with my iPhone etc. as well, using Bluetooth. It was easy to set this up.
This speaker comes with a nice, small remote control.

Not good quality

I was very disappointed in this product. It did not connect via bluetooth easily and when it finally did the sound was interupted and cut in and out. I returned the item and replaced it with the Akai 44-0251. This is a great product.

Q: How do I eliminate the "fluttery" sound? I have an AKAI sound base: AKSB-135. It was easy to install but I don't like the sound quality. There is a background flutter-like noise I find very irritating.

Q: Does this allow you to pair a bluetooth headset/headphone, so you can hear the TV through the headphones?

A: You cannot pair a Bluetooth headphone with the Soundbase. Though both units are Bluetooth capable – both are the receiving units for the Bluetooth signal. A master signal, such as a Phone/iPod/Tablet, is still required.
