Fast wearing tires

Put these on a 2010 ford focus, they balance and handle good but I have 18,000kms on them and they are below the wear bars, not a horrible tire but wear way too quick.

Perform OK but won't but Cooper again

I bought these tires on clearance at 50% off - $139 each 18 months ago. This is a large initial cost saving on 245/45/r20 tires. Usually I only buy Michelin or Bridgestone but the deal was too good to pass up. Wrong. There are significant drawbacks with this tire. While they do perform fairly well, I have found that these tires flatspot (annoying), wear rather quickly and reduced my gas mileage by 1.5l/100km. The rolling resistance of this tire must be very high. I have driven these tires 22,000km and I think Ill get only another 10-15K out of them. They are more than half gone. Not great. If I do the gas math - 1.5l more gas per 100km x $2/l = $3/100km x (22,000/100) = $660 in additional gas spend! It adds up and my initial deal isn't looking so good. Swapped in my winter tires and my gas mileage immediately improved by 1.5l/100 so its not the car. With winter tires yet! 2 stars bc they do perform ok but in my case the drawbacks are not acceptable. Cannot recommend Cooper tire and will not buy again no matter the price bc you simply end up paying over time. Stick to tier one brands.

Acheté en liquidation a 60 % de rabais. Ce sont les meilleurs pneus que je pouvais avoir. Pneu d'une dimension 245/45/19, excellent tenue sur la route et surtout sur les virages. Ne font quasiment aucun bruit. Je suis très heureux de mon achat.
