The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

Mud And Snow Rated

Q: 2019 RAM Classic 1500 5.7 hemi. I have a set of 17" rims from my 2014 RAM. The new RAM has 20" rims with 275 tire size. Can I use the 17" with the corresponding 275 tires on my new truck? Will the wheel diameter be the same?

A: This will likely not work for you as the rim diameter must be the same for your tire to fit the wheel. Tires that came on a 20” wheel will not fit a 17” wheel. (This does not take into consideration whether your 17” wheels will fit your new vehicle). If you would like to purchase a set of wheels to fit your new vehicle and your new tires, please use our vehicle selector tool to shop by products that are compatible with your vehicle. Once you have filtered by vehicle, you can shop by wheels that have the same diameter as your tires (sounds like it’s 20”). Please contact your local Canadian Tire Service Centre for assistance with choosing a wheel or a new set of tires.
