This is a great little bug zapper. Great that is is only charged while the button is pressed. Also a great safety feature that the bug needs to touch the outer and the inner wire meshes to get shocked.

The bug zapper worked great particularly on larger bugs like horseflies and hornets. It took a few tries to figure out that you had to hold the button for a few seconds before swatting the bug.

This bug zapper racket has worked great to kill unwanted insects inside our tent trailer. You can zap the bugs to kill them and this avoids squishing the bugs that can create a bloody mess on the tent canvas. For adult use only. It works for mosquitoes, wasps, and other large insects.

Q: When does the red light on the handle light up ? The instruction sheet provided gives no reference to the red light.

A: When you press on / off button the light will turn red indicating zapper is on. You have to hold the finger on the button to keep on.
