Transmitter broke down after 6 months. Was put in the perfect spot ...under cover and not in direct sunlight. Unable to buy just the transmitter... have to buy the entire unit. Was great when working. Inside temputer is still working fine. Changed batterys and it trys to boot up for outside but just gets hung up.

Good idea, poor realization. Transmitter broke down in less than 3 months. It was hanging in an ideal spot: covered outside, no direct rain or sunlight. When it broke down it stuck one the last temperature it read. After power cycle it reads temperature and sticks to it again, never pairs. Tried to find spare transmitter - not available.
