Thought it was a good buy as it was on clearance sale, installed it and found that the ballast was not working.

The blast in this product is a rapid ballast. Make sure you can buy the tubes that say rapid lighting. If you can't buy this type, the blast needs to be change out. I bought instant light tubes, the tubes would not work.

Nice Looking, Three Tubes, Works Well

I put this light on my home office ceiling and when I need more light, it gives it to me since it has three tubes in it. The frame is wood which I feel is much nicer than plastic. The opaque plastic lens (which hides the tubes) is a bit thin but with careful installation it did not break. I read the other review about this light not lasting - I use mine for 4 or 5 days each month on rainy, dull days - I don't use mine every day for 8 hours a day - but I have had no problems so far, it is working fine.

Yes, I recommend this product.
