Setup & Ease of Use Assembly is straightforward and well thought out. Everything fits together cleanly, and the instructions are clear enough that you won’t be scratching your head for long. For a first-time charcoal griller, that confidence boost right out of the box matters. Temperature Control The damper vent system gives you solid control over airflow and heat management. There’s a natural learning curve to dialing in your ideal cooking temperature, but the system is logical — adjust the vents, monitor the heat, and fine-tune from there. After a cook or two, it starts to feel very intuitive. Lid Holder The built-in lid holder on the bowl is a genuinely useful feature, keeping the lid secure and out of your way while you tend to the fire or manage your food. One word of caution though — sliding the lid in and out of the holder can scratch the paint over time. i had a old weber kettle grill that i bought at a yard sale 20 years ago used. so i decided it was time to upgrade. wow so much easier to maintain heat for those longer cook times.i guess i could have rebuilt the old one which i have in the past but it was time to upgrade and I'm glade i did. hope to have this grill for at least another 20 years
