Wahl ChargePro Trimmer Kit

It works OK, but I wouldn't say it's any better than the cheaper versions. My husband uses it about once every three weeks and I use it on our son as well. It's definitely lasted a good while, we've had it for about a year now.

Bought this about a year and a half ago. The battery doesn't hold a charge. I charged it up for a good 12 hours three days ago...and I went to use it yesterday, and the battery was stone cold dead! It didn't even make a noise at all! I then tried using it with the charging cord attached, and plugged into the outlet in my washroom. I was surprised that it ran perfectly with the charging cord attached! I guess this thing will run even with a dead battery! If I do charge it up and use it immediately, the battery will stay charged long enough to do a haircut without the charge cord, but it's a pain in the keester if you wanted it to last through your travelling or camping( although, who the heck cuts hair while camping! # :oP The reason that I gave it a 4 star rating, is that it's very powerful! I have used clippers in the past..even other Wahl brand clippers, but this baby outperforms them all! It has a powerful motor, and the blade is very precision made. It feels good in the hand too, it is quite heavy, so I imagine that's because of the motor. The little trimmer that they also throw in, is the same! it's a Quality piece just like the bigger one is, and whats beautiful about the little trimmer, is that it runs on just one "AA" battery. The little one cuts hair as well as the bigger one, and in a pinch, I know that I could even use it to do a complete haircut, as the blade is just as precision as the bigger one, and just a little over half the width of the bigger unit's blade. I don't know if I could write the company and get another battery for it? I had given some of the accesories that came with it, to my Mother, so I can't just take it back to the store and exchange it for another one now. I haven't even looked at it closely yet, to see what exactly it has for a battery..I hope that it can be replaced? The accesories that came with it, was surprising! A beautiful hand held mirror with brown marbled plastic, "tortoise shell" effect? # my Mother Loved it! # It also has matching scissors, comb, various sized blade covers to govern the length of cut # about 5 of them,I think #. It also came with a full length plastic cape to keep hair from getting on you, or whoever. It even comes with a quality wooden handled wisk!, and "berets" # I think thats what they are called?#...# to keep areas of the hair out of the way while trimming.# And the carrying case itself is very nice, made with thick black cloth, #or canvas? # which also has a sturdy zipper running along the three sides of it. The carrying case has well made elasticised compartments that hold all the accessories neatly. I would purchase these clippers all over again if, or when, they do fail. If it wasn't for the battery,... it's the best darned clippers out there # in my opinion anyways # Sincerely, Jebidiah

The trimmer worked great at the beginning the battery did not hold a charge long enough to trim my hair after six months. then in nine months the clipper blade that snaps in broke. Dont' know which part but the blade wasn't holding don't know how long the warranty is

well .i was a bit reluctant b4 buying this . looked a bit bit overpriced . its a powerful clipper . cuts through thick hair easily .its a rotary motor operated (not magnetic or pivot motor)so has nice speed and power. makes reasonable noise/vibration . the kits includes nearly every accessory needed for clipping . The little trimmer uses a single AA battery. its just 4 inches in length. tiny little thing is quite powerful!. The main clipper is well made in terms of workmanship.the blade give the look of high quality .it comes off by pressing it with thumb.cuts hair fast and efficiently. the charger is can operate from 110 to 240 volts so it can be charged all over the world without using a voltage converter IL see how long it lasts since am sending it to dad back in Fiji islands(the whole village comes for a hair cut whenever i send dad a new clipper).if this thing breaks then IL have to send the oster 76 classic.
