Bought this umbrella when on end of season sale! Great buy... As per all products, once I got it home, I ensured that all parts were there.. Was missing crank handle, foot pedal and pedal arm but store willingly cannibalised another umbrella in store for parts... Part of instructions were not clear ( had to read several times). very secure base and great added feature to screw down to deck if needed besides using sand.. Very pleased with umbrella and new Aylmer Qc store service!

It provides great shade and if something does ever happen to the base, you can attach it to a deck and it will still be useable.

A: box is very long ( about 10 feet) but not that wide... Base has to be assembled therefore does not take up a lot of space

Q: Bought this Umbrella a few years ago and have been very happy with it. Unfortunately the canvas has torn and I was wondering if a replacement canvas is possible. The hardware works perfectly and it would be a shame to have to throw the whole unit out.

Q: Umbrella handle "ratchet" I'm working with a replacement umbrella. This one also doesn't always 'ratchet' when opening and so the umbrella doesn't stay open. The handle spins backwards and the umbrella closes. Is there a 'technique' to opening the umbrella?

Q: Can this be kept outdoors year round?

A: Our recommendation is to bring in the canopy during the winter. All the snow and ice will fade the colour of the canopy, so bringing it inside will help maintain the colour. Also, this umbrella is solar/ LED so it will help protect it those components of the umbrella.
