Q: Does this mop need the bucket to wring or can it be wrung manually?

A: Yes, there is a special contraption to put the mop in to wring it out. I suppose it can be done without it by doing it by hand but it will lose its convenience.

Q: How do you remove the mop head? I wish Vileda would include directions on the package.

A: Hi Kathryn, Directions are included on the packaging of the mop or refill itself. To remove the refill for the Super Mop, simply hold the red connector that is attached to the mop strands on the end of the handle and twist. The refill will unscrew from the handle and will allow for the replacement to screw back onto the handle threading. We hope this helps.
