Pas terrible

Acheté à l'été 2012..... Elle fonctionne quand ca lui tente ....une fois sur dix ! Qualité d'image très moyenne. Pourquoi vendre un produit aussi moche !? Le pire:,sur le côté de l'appareil, c'est indiqué: manufactured august 2008 !!!! Ça fait quatre ans que ça traîne dans des boites!!!!!! Évité cet achat !!!!!!

Bon achat pour une petite cuisine

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre achat. Ça nous a permis de dégager de beaucoup le comptoir de la cuisine. Nous y avons branché le câble et la qualité de l'image est excellente. Nous avons eu la chance de l'acheter à rabais. Au prix régulier j'en conviens que le produit est trop dispendieux.

Screen died after a year and a half

The product worked great until it just died on me this weekend. The screen just stopped working, can still hear the audio but video is gone. Just read other reviews around the web and discovered this is a common issue. I would not recommend as who knows how long it will last you.

Steer clear

We bought this under the counter TV/DVD player before Christmas. Had a question about placement under a microwave and got a snotty email reply from Venturer. We drilled and installed the unit. The screen cut out sometimes, the sound was okay on some channels, but on the most local and most watched channel I had to stand still right in front of the TV to hear anything (although commercials were extra loud). Returned the 1st one and installed a second one. It had same volume issues. Decided to try a Sylvania DVD player (which was only $99). Tried it before installing and no volume issues at all. Drilled more holes and installed it. Packed up the 2nd Venturer and returned for a refund. I would NOT recommend buying the Venturer!!! Difference between 8" (Venturer) and 7" screen (Sylvania) in negligible. LESSON: Just because it's selling price is higher doesn't mean it is better.

A: I would say that you could mount it ,but your power supply would have to be converted, the tv would probably have no reception and the dvd may skip while driving down the road.

A: Absolutely not. Do not believe the answer above. The tuner is an old style NTSC tuner and will not display digital signals.

A: The unit will not work with a generic universal remote. You can only use the remote that comes with the unit.

Q: I just bought this and hooked it up. When the unit is shut off there is a loud humming/buzzing noise. Any ideas how to fix this or what causes it?

A: Désolé, mais il est impossible de faire un achat en ligne sur le site de Canadian Tire. Il faut se rendre à un magasin pour faire l'achat. De plus, il n'est pas recommandé pour une personne de l'Europe d'acheter un téléviseur et lecteur DVD américain, puisque qu'ils ne sont pas compatible avec les ondes hertzienne et les disques disponible en France.
