A: Its Max 5V/ 1000mA. In my experience that is not enough power to charge 2 devices at the same time. Two blackberries, in my case, can't do it.. However, when I looked around I could not find a a power bar that offered more power for USB charging. Maybe at a much higher price, but they all seem to max out at this same point.

A: The clamping voltage (which denotes the voltage which will trip the surge protector) of this product is slightly above what a direct lightning strike will deliver. On a positive note, a large lightning strike may actually trip its circuit breaker, but probably only if it is a direct strike.
