Lasted a year

The battery life does not last long and after a year the screw broke off and we couldnt fix it without proper tools. Couldnt find where I could get a replacement lid.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great Motion Sensor Trash Can

This is a great can. If your hands are messy, with just a wave in front of the sensor and you don't touch the lid. The regular price we felt was high but this can was on sale and we used some canadian tire money, so it worked out cheaper. We would buy again for sure.

Q: Where does the battery’s go? I have different one and the battery in under the lid.

Q: The batteries required says d batteries 3 volt. Can I use 1,50 volt d batteries.
