VERY disappointed

The kit bits and pieces are okay (tackle etc) but the reel is absolutely awful. Nothing like the feel of plastic grinding on plastic as you reel in. Line got constantly tangled. My kids quit in disgust after 5 minutes of frustration and borrowed moms and dads. Don't waste your money; get something half decent. I am amazed that Canadian Tire sells such an awful product. Product testing????

Great Rod Kit

We bought two of these kits for our daughters and I love them! They come with everything that you need to get started with fishing and the rods are quite durable. I would def. buy these again if given the chance or when we need another one!

Q: Is this rod fibreglass aor plastic? Does this rod have anti reverse and and is is plastic or fibregalss?

A: Yes this rod is a fiberglass/graphite rod, the reel does have a single ball bearing anti reverse with a plastic spool.
