Looks great, front suspension fork is garbage.

I was going to review this three stars but decided to go four because of the price/performance value. Picked it up on sale at $200. Picked this up for my son as an interim bicycle as he's growing, and this likely won't last two seasons before we need to go bigger for him. Picked it up boxed cause they didn't have one on display so I built it myself. Truth is on first impressions I was pretty impressed. It looks GREAT. Disc brakes. I was pretty impressed for the $200 sale price. Four months or so, no more. No significant off-road riding, mostly sidewalks and bicycle paths. But a significant amount of riding. I just had the opportunity to give it a once over and was pretty impressed. Tires are holding up, brakes are good, shifting needed a slight adjustment but expected after a few months. Was prepared to say 5 stars, stellar buy! Till I looked at the front suspension fork. Fork was in rough shape after only a few months. Sticking. Seemed to have zero lubricant left in it. I don't think it needs servicing, I think it needs replacing. Really disappointing after only a few months of riding. Everything else is great, but that front fork is completely shot after a very short time. Not cheap to replace. Know what, I have to reevaluate again and put it to 3 stars. With the likelihood of having to replace that front fork so soon, I can't possibly recommend it. Which is a shame cause it looks GREAT. Looks like the day I brought it home. Not a scratch on it, it's held up tremendously, with the exception of the fork.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this bike 2 weeks ago for my 8 year old. Although I feel it's a bit big for him, he rides it fine. Everything about this bike is perfect, especially at this price point. Only downside is, it's a bit heavier.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
