Another happy kid; super fun activity

Another happy kid; a must for any child that wants to have fun on a snow hill. Bought this last week for my 6 year old son and every day after school we spend 30 minutes using the GT racer. Was easy to put together and took approximately 15 minutes. Now I'm looking to purchase one for myself but the adult version.

Q: How hard is stowing the tow rope before you go down a hill? I noticed the next model up has a retractable tow rope. I was wondering if it was worth paying the extra.

A: I just quickly wrap the tow rope around the steering column post before going down the hill. Been riding these wiih/without kids for decades and never had a problem.

Q: The description says that the assembled weight is 40 lbs. Is that correct? How can an 8 year old pull that much weight uphill?

A: It is suitable for the average 10 year old, but if your child is taller than average, especially if they have long legs, they may find the next size up snowracers (the pink and the white) more comfortable.
