Q: how long is this heater? The posting showed an adjustable degree, is there a thermostate on it? Please send me the model that has themostate in it.

A: The unit is 50", and there is no build-in thermostate on this particular model. I believe it's the stelpo Brava series that has the built-in thermostates on the baseboard heaters.

A: The user guide for the product says to keep electrical cords, drapes, and other furnishings away from the heater. We can consider your low-pile carpet « other furnishings » and, as such, the product should not come into contact with it.
