Q: Does it constantly update its reading? For example, if you stack several things on the scale, adding each item one at a time over the course of, say, a minute, will it update its reading after each item is added? Or does it need to zero itself between each reading.

A: There is no tare function on our bathroom scales. That being said it needs to revert back to Zero, weights will not accumulate.
