Stanley High Visibility Contractor Square.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stanley Speed Square is light weight yet very strong. It is easy to find in a tool bag with the high visibility yellow color and the contrast with black measurement markings make it easy to read. The high strength plastic is not cold to the touch like many of the metal tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Square has very readable markings that are easy to use and see. Sturdy compared to other plastic squares and doesn’t deform easily. Overall pretty useful, I just wish it had notched so I could draw parallel lines easier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This square is for one very easy to find if you lose it! The bright yellow is very noticeable no matter where you misplace it at. Easy to use and very easy to read. You can use your pencil to make marks on square where needed and they wipe off very easy. Everything is straight forward and easy to use!

Wish it wasn't plastic...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 12" Stanley square made of ABS plastic was totally fine. On the plus side, it is lighter weight and was square. The notches were easy to use and it worked fine for all of the things you expect out of a 12" square. My only complaint is that I prefer aluminum instead of the plastic. I found that after only a few uses I was seeing more damage on the square than previous, aluminum squares I have used. I was even damaging it in my home shop, so I would imagine it wouldn't hold up as well on a job site, especially if the plastic was regularly exposed to sunlight and cold and became brittle over time.

No, I do not recommend this product.
