Q: I noticed the package says microwave safe without lid. What happens if you microwave it with the lid? Completely defeats the purpose of having a microwaveable container if only parts of it can be used. It would have been so much easier for them to fix.

A: Hello , Unfortunately none of our food containers have vents on the lid. When you heat something - in this case in the microwave, it will be generating steam and the steam has to be released. If not, the lid just pops out (‘explodes’) and your lunch will be on the microwave cavity walls. It is not about the material, (lid and base are exactly the same material), it is about the pressure created by heating what is inside and when heating steam is created, the steam has to be released.
