built like a tank

this thing is very well made, unlike it's competition the only gripe is that it's a little loose in the receiver ... I just shimmed it and it's all good now very heavy duty

Smittybilt Beaver Step

I had another brand of hitch step (on a previous vehicle) that had serious rust issues - made it difficult to get the step in/out of the receiver. This Smittybilt hitch step is a solid construction, very heavy-duty. I like having this in my receiver so that I have a step-up to reach the roof of my SUV ... especially in the winter for clearing snow off of the roof.
