Honing solution - the best product for sharpening

Really assists with removing metal particles from stone area so the stone or diamond stone remains abrasive. Smooths the action of metal on stone making the task easier and more productive. No smell, no residue on your hands. Worth the money!

Q: What is in the honing oil? Is safe for human consumption? I notice the "Keep out of Children's reach" warning. If I used will I need to wash and used another oil for the knives I used to prepare food?

A: It is not safe for human consumption. When you are finished sharpening, be sure to clean your stone each time. Hold the stone under warm water or clean it with a paper towel or cloth. Please contact the manufacturer for all instructions at 1-800.221.4156.
