Q: Is this remote compatible with an old Lynx 455 automatic Doorman? Existing reciever ESP Micom Wi remote control not working (very old)

A: I bought this for my older Genie garage door, and it didn't work. So I found a Genie dealer in British Columbia and called them. They said I needed to install sensors first. I ended up buying the sensors and door opener from Genie, and the system took time to install but it works well. Sorry I cannot advise about your question!

Q: does this remote control replace the receiver on the opener

A: Yes, this will work with most older models openers where a simple push button wall control is used, it simply closes the contacts to the opener. It is not compatible with Chamberlain/Liftmaster Security+ openers and remotes.

A: Si votre ouvre-garage est plus vieux et fabriqué dans les années 70 et 80, il n'y aura probablement pas assez de puissance parvenant du moteur pour que le bouton puisse ouvrir ou fermer la porte.
