Easy to set up and works perfectly for my needs. I'd just make the presser foot lifting lever was on my right as i can'tget used to the one on my left, but this is personal preference. Everything else is good.

I am new to the world of serging, but I have found the whole experience fascinating. Threading the machine is one of the most challenging parts of using the machine. Once you have overcome this hurdle, the rest is easy-peasy.

Best Machine Ever

I got the machine about two years ago. It was the best thing that I did. I love my machine, and would totally get another one if this one does not work. I use it all the time. The only thing that I don't have on my machine is a thread cutter which would be handy. I got my machine from a different store, but it is exactly the same.

Q: Can it sew denim ? …and if so, how many layers? Can you also thread it to sew a simple standard two thread seam ?

A: According to the manual the answer to both questions is yes. I am hesitant to try to sew denim. Maybe when I gain more experience with the machine I will try. As to question nr. 2 - I am pretty sure you can. Haven’t tried it yet.
