Q: Misplaced instructions...can you provide me with same? Thank you. Samurai shatk knife sharpener

    1 Answer
    • A: There are two ends to this sharpener. The "Delta blade" which is the singular one that slides out like an Exacto knife is used for sharpening single edged tools like a pruner or a pair of scissors. The "V-shaped" blades are used for sharpening tools with an edge on both sides, such as most knives. The V-shaped end has adjustable width, but no adjustable angle. So sliding that middle piece around is purely to accommodate thicker blades. For single edged bladed tools, bring either side of the delta blade flush against the angle of the blade and slide along while applying pressure downwards onto the blade angle. Repeat a few times. Maybe several if your blade is very blunt. For tools with an edge on both sides, bring the edge to meet with the bottom of the V-shaped slot and pull through a few times.
