Don't waste your time

Bought one on sale without reading the comments...mistake. Battery lasted 20-30 minutes tops not the "up to 6 hours" as advertised on the box. Speed wasn't too bad for about 5-8 minutes then it would heat up to the point of being too uncomfortable to handle and it would begin to lag and freeze. Seriously don't waste your time, even at half price it was a big disappointment.

Bought one yesterday,downloaded 2apps and out of storage space.advertised as 8gb,but only has 3.6 took it back and got money back.the old saying don't believe everything you read and you get what you pay for.do not purchase.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I have navigated the user interface and downloaded several apps from the Google App store for it and can say that for streaming YouTube, Bell TV and Disney websites it has been flawless. Did a quick seasoning of the battery and with the brightness adjusted it appears that the battery lasts for over 2 hours in full on wireless streaming. 8" screen is clear and the colours are vibrant at lower brightness. It crashed a couple of times while using a Shopkins app, but I attribute this to the app more than the tablet. So far it appears to have been a good buy and a more practical alternative to a limited function VTECH mini-tablet that she originally asked for.
My wife has had an RCA 7" tablet purchased from Cdn Tire for over a year now and it's been working flawlessly for web use and games play. Perhaps there are a few duds out there, but that's what warranties are for!! You can certainly spend a ton more on other brands and there will still be a dud here or there.
My overall opinion so far is that this is a reasonably priced product that does what it's promised to do.

low storage

When starting it up and downloaded a few apps it said memory was full. It is telling my that there is only 3.87gb total storage instead of 8 gb. Will be exchanging it today and hopefully the replacement has a full 8 gb of storage as advertised.

A: Please note that this tablet comes with HDMI output, so the answer to your question was incomplete as it only covered what you asked specifically which was not possible. Although I have not tested this feature yet, I'm sure that it works fine as designed.
