    Stainless Steel Output Shaft coming off when used.

    I bought this Philips Sonicare in November 2011. I have been using one at two times a day. About a week ago the Stainless Steel Output Shaft (the metal part that is holding the headbrush) started to come off when in use. It has to be pushed back in the handle. Very inconvenient. I have decided to buy a new sonicare. it won't be a Philips.

    After 16 months stopped working, Philips customer service replaced, now replacement stopped working after 6 months, this does not give me confidence in buying a new one, what a shame as did like the Philips Electric toothbrush, would not buy again, other brands have a better shelf life

    Toothbrush stopped working

    My electric toothbrush suddenly stopped working, it wouldn't start when I pressed the button. Tried charging it, but still dead. in general I have found that Philips toothbrushes are effective teeth cleaners but are unreliable products. This is my third electric toothbrush that has had a problem.
