The way it should be from the factory...

Replaced my 7440 incandescent bulbs in my 2015 GTI with these. More than happy with the results. The light is the exact color as the incandescent bulbs and fills the housings perfectly, no hot spots or dim spots. Quality of the bulbs is top notch, MUCH better than other cheap LED bulbs. I'm sure these will last for years.

Q: will this require resistors to be added to vehicle to overcome the warning light on dash? most burn bulb warning systems continue to warn of a burnt bulb when using led bulbs.

A: Yes, If you do experience a Bulb Warning Light or an irregular flashing you will need to add a Can-bus solution to your vehicle. Canadian Tire offers 2 Can-bus products. 21W for external lighting and a 5W for internal.
