I used this for a craft project mainly joining things to terra cotta pots. Sticks quickly so I don’t have to wait before continuing with other aspects of my projects. Drys to a flexible almost gum like texture so use sparingly. Strong odour so make sure space is well ventilated.

Q: Can you use it on automobile painted surfaces? Will it work to stick an emblem back on my truck?

A: Hello Mercedes1a1, thank you for your question. Our recommendation to adhere automotive emblems is Permatex® 5 Minute Epoxy (038-3764-6) or Permatex® 1 Minute Epoxy (038-3763-8). The 5 Minute epoxy provides 5 minutes of working time before the epoxy begins to setup. This choice is preferred if you have multiple pieces of emblem to affix. It may require that the emblem be supported with removable tape for roughly 10-15 minutes. The 1 Minute epoxy will begin to setup very quickly. Also apply removable tape for support for 10-15 minutes. In both cases be sure to not over apply the adhesive such that excess epoxy squeezes out. Thank you for your question.

A: Hello Entitty, thank you for your question. The adhesive bond will set in 60 to 90 minutes and will fully cure in 24 to 72 hours. Cure times will be take longer in high humidity or parts with large gaps and surface areas. Thank you again for your question.
